Christ Pantocrator |
Although this image did not come very well, I decided to display it here. It is an icon of Christ Pantocrator ("All powerfull") which appears on the ceiling of most Orthodox churches. It remainds us that while we serve here, He is in Heaven as supreme and all powerful King. |

The archbishop and the children |
In regular services, the children all all other people stay a little further from the altar. Even during this service, there was a man who constantly pushed the children back, until the archbishop came out and called all the children to come close to him.
"Let the children come" - it's what also Jesus said when his disciples asked them to stay away in order not to annoy Him. |

Cemetery |
The Holy Liturgy is over. We exit the church, which is surrounded by these tombs. Some people are in the street, waiting to see the archbishop again. |

Surrounded by priests |
I took this picture with some of the priests who participated to the service. They serve in the parishes around and as good neighbors joined in this celebration. |

Departure |
As people leave the church, they receive wine and blessed bread. |

Lunch |
We are invited to a large hall. I believe there were at least 100 people enjoying this lunch with the archbishop and the priests.
This is the table where most of the priests were sitted, with their wives. I was staying at another table.
