| A balancing act |
One of the shocking images I saw in India were these motorcycles with two, three or even four people. As I looked at this lady I was afraid she is going to fall from the bike in the middle of traffic.
Try this in New York, and you will be immediately stopped by police. I guess Indians enjoy greater freedom to take risks. |

I took this picture from the top of a modern building in Bangalore. What is not seen here is that the city is literally filled with modern American companies like IBM, Oracle, Ebay, etc.
At one moment on the street I say three catholic nuns passing three muslim ladies. As they were similarly dressed, I found the encounter fascinating. |

| India is now the number one outsourcing destination in the world. This floor is filled with cubicals with a large number of programmers. The building had at perhaps ten floors like this. As a result of the outsourcing boom, the Indian economy and society is rapidly changing. |
