A balancing act
One of the shocking images I saw in India were these motorcycles with two, three or even four people. As I looked at this lady I was afraid she is going to fall from the bike in the middle of traffic.

Try this in New York, and you will be immediately stopped by police. I guess Indians enjoy greater freedom to take risks.

Bangalore view
I took this picture from the top of a modern building in Bangalore. What is not seen here is that the city is literally filled with modern American companies like IBM, Oracle, Ebay, etc.

At one moment on the street I say three catholic nuns passing three muslim ladies. As they were similarly dressed, I found the encounter fascinating.

Takeoff
This is not a real plane, but a picture of a large poster with the image of a fighter plane. I found it close to the Bangalore airport.

Another bike
.. and another balancing act. Pray that the lady does not fall!

Happy children
Does not matter how rich or poor, children always find ways to amuse themselves.

Nice house in Bangalore
While the poor are not far away, some areas of the city have these nice houses, which could be envied by any American middle class family.

Shopping
Any trip to India must include a stop in the shopping district.

Truck
Everything in India is very colorfull.

Who says that a simple truck cannot be an artistic expression?

Business
This picture was taken in a very modern building in the city of Pune. We met with clients and partners, who work in modern facilities, with all the technology available in the West.

On the righ is my friend Rich Cronheim.

Outsourcing
India is now the number one outsourcing destination in the world. This floor is filled with cubicals with a large number of programmers. The building had at perhaps ten floors like this. As a result of the outsourcing boom, the Indian economy and society is rapidly changing.
