In June 2005 I made my second trip to India. Five years ago, shortly before 9/11, I took my first trip to that country, at that time to Calcutta. It was a remarcable experience, after which I came home with a profound respect for that great country. This time I went to Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. It was in the dry season, as opposed to the first trip, when I cought a little and the mansoon. But I was again impressed by the deep contrasts between the luxury of the hotels and the misery of the poor people on the streets. Here is a short chronicle of my trip.
